Oil & Gas Awareness Course

This 2 day course is aimed at personnel who have gained ROV operational and technical experience in non oil related activities, for example in the cable industry. The course is designed to provide the opportunity to become familiar with oil and gas related activities using ROV systems.

Alternatively the course would be ideal for personnel working in areas of the offshore industry who have little or no experience of how a drilling operation takes place, and in particular how the ROV is involved in the operation.

The course covers all aspects of the drilling operation and discusses how the ROV becomes involved in each stage. The course provides an overview of the specific tooling used and the considerations that must be taken into account when operating the ROV on a drilling operation.
