High Voltage Safety Awareness

MTCS Ltd offers a 2 day High Voltage Safety Awareness course on ROV systems that is designed to meet the requirements of IMCA (R005) whilst providing your personnel with the opportunity to become familiar with their organisations High Voltage Safety Policies.

The course focuses on the isolation of High Voltage equipment which is an essential requirement prior to maintenance work being carried out.

The course content includes:

• A brief overview of Legislation and Responsibilities
• Safety Systems
• Overview of Company Permit to Work Systems
• ROV System Components
• Systems of Work and Isolation Procedures for Company ROV Systems
• High Voltage Test Equipment
• Overview of Hazardous Areas

Candidates are assessed by ‘closed book‘ exam and a practical exercise that may be carried out on your equipment.
