EMTA Awards Ltd
EMTA Awards Ltd is the UK’s leading awarding body for engineering National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) and their Scottish equivalents (SVQs). The organisation is responsible for awarding qualifications through approved assessment centres. MTCS Ltd is an approved centre to award Assessor and Internal Verifier NVQ awards to senior team members who are responsible for assessing personnel offshore. Candidates working through this scheme are eligible for these awards at the discretion of MTCS Ltd and their managers.

International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA)
IMCA is the trade association for the Offshore Construction, ROV and Hydrographic Survey industry. The association is made up of operating companies and provides guidelines on best practice for offshore operations.

Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM)
MTCS Ltd. is approved by ILM to deliver Supervisor, Leadership and Management training. Candidates successfully undertaking these courses may gain internationally recognised ILM qualifications.

ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for the quality management of businesses. It applies to the processes that create and control the training and assessment process that MTCS Ltd. supplies. ISO9001 prescribes systematic control of activities to ensure that the needs and expectations of customers are met. It is designed and intended to apply to virtually any product or service, made by any process anywhere in the world.

Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA)
This Agency is responsible throughout the UK for implementing the Government’s maritime safety policy. That includes co-ordinating search and rescue at sea through Her Majesty’s Coastguard, and checking that ships meet UK and international safety rules. They work to prevent the loss of lives at the coast and at sea, to ensure that ships are safe, and to prevent coastal pollution Safer Lives, Safer Ships, Cleaner Seas.
The Career Transition Partnership (CTP)
CTP is a partnering agreement between the Ministry of Defence and Right Management, who are global career development and outplacement specialists. The Directorate of Resettlement represents the Ministry of Defence, and is responsible for Tri-Service resettlement policy and for the delivery of resettlement services through the partnership. The CTP provides successful resettlement services for those leaving the Armed Forces, and operates as an intermediary service for employers wishing to hire highly skilled, committed and capable employees.
