MTCS Ltd exhibited at this year’s very successful BWEA31 event and careers fair in Liverpool on 20th-22nd October 2009.

Over 3,450 delegates attended the event and 400 visitors passed through the doors of the careers fair. We experienced a huge wealth of interest in our courses; in particular our ROV open courses targeted towards the renewable industry and have since taken additional bookings for our 2010 courses.

As we expected there is a growing interest towards jobs within the renewables industry and the topic of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROV’s) has been no exception. The ROV industry appears to have proved very popular to those looking for a career change or new challenge. ROV’s are an essential part of the offshore industry due to their adaptability to operate in environments that are considered too deep and sometimes dangerous for divers.

Our managing director Richard Warburton met with many business friends old and new and received a number of very interesting leads and opportunities from the event. It was great to see so many young people at the careers fair looking for new opportunities within the renewable energy industry and in particular those wishing to expand their skill set into the ROV sector.

Thank you to all those who visited us and came over for a chat and to those who we spoke to regarding careers within the industry; we look forward to attending the next BWEA32 in Glasgow next year, hope to see you there!
